I am doing very well. Thanks for your prayers!
Now that we have jumped the hurdle of surgery, the next hurdle is starting school. Although after nine years of preparing for school, it does get a little bit easier....but it's still a hurdle.
I have been reminded this summer of the many blessings that God has given me/us! So I thought I would post some pics of those blessings!
First of all my HUBBY! What a blessing he has been in my life! Can't imagine my life without him. Thank you Lord for such a wonderful husband!
Our Home! Thank you Lord for allowing us to build a home where family can join.

There is no picture to show the gift of eternal life that you freely give to us, if we accept and confess that you are Lord. Or the mercy and grace that you pour out upon us. We recognize that we are sinful and have fallen short in this life, but yet your goodness is still revealed to us.

The kids adore you ... Hence the comment from Mason last week 'I wish Aunt DD lived with us. Then I'd have 2 mommies and 2 daddies (guess that means he wants Uncle Pete to live with us too)' Not quite sure what would happen if he went to school and said he had 2 mommies and 2 daddies, yet his parents are still married.. might throw that teacher for a loop!! Love You
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement today, we so many times look for the negatives in our lives and cry out about them. But we often forget about all of the positives in our lives and forget to SHOUT OUT about them. I too am very thankful for my Husband and my family. I am very fortunate that God gave me such and awesome marriage and family. We love and miss you greatly but keep on keeping on with doing God's work!
