In the month of August, not only did we fill it with the state fair, we will filled it with Family Fun!
My Aunt Mary and Uncle Marley, who live in South Carolina, came for an extended weekend. There was a family reunion that was happening and it was with some relatives that they haven't seen in many years so they decided to make the trek to Iowa! We are so glad they did too!

Also in the month of August, I celebrated my 15 year High School class reunion. I feel so old when I say "15 years ago...". There are days that go by and I still feel like I'm 19! However soon after that my body makes me FEEL like I'm 90! Another thing that reminds me that I'm getting old is that time just FLIES BY!
August was such a crazy busy month full of FAMILY, FRIENDS and FUN. Even though we are sad to see summer end, we EAGERLY anticipate the beauty that this next season brings...BRING ON FALL!
