Week 14

Fruit of the week...Baby D is the size of a lemon. This is considered a "jumbo lemon" but it did measure 3 1/2 inces, so I thought it was a keeper for the visual this week! Today, I had my 14 week appointment. Nothing special, just the usual bp check (which was normal..yay! :). Through a 'doppler', we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was 152 bpm today. What is the 'old wives tale' about heart rate anyways?!?! We are NOT going to find out what we are having but it sure is fun to consider these things along the way.

This is a picture of what Pete does this time of year! He loves storms, tornados and all that weather stuff! He IS a certified Storm Spotter... you know!! ;) I do enjoy watching a great storm blow in as well. However, when the weather radio goes off in the middle of the night telling me a tornado has been spotted and is heading in my direction..I assure you I'm headed for the basement while Pete will be doing this.

Here are a few pics of Mason and Mallory. They got to spend the day with Aunt DD and Uncle Pete. Mason noticed that the shelf was dusty. He said "Oh...DD..this is dusty..where's a rag?" Ha..ok..if you say so! So they both went to town and cleaned it all off for me! Bless their hearts! Love them!

Then they helped us plant 3 oak trees in our yard. As we were digging we found lots of worms. This started us all looking really closely at nature. The next job we did was pick up rocks so that Pete could mow. As we were picking up rocks, Mason found an ant farm! He says "LARVE..DD look at all these larve" Um...where did you learn that word..child?!? Thanks Magic School Bus!

Had to post this beautiful picture of the sunset. God's creation is pretty AWEsome!
