Visuals

This is but a memory now but I wanted to share some visuals!
You will see two needles; one is used to pull up the progesterone and the other is used to administer it. Pete was in charge of measuring the oil and then administering it. I needed 1 cc of oil every night in my rear. The needle needs to be long so that it will be given directly into the muscle for quick absorbsion. We would have to rotate the site around my hips/rear so that my muscles didn't become too sore.

After each lovely shot, we needed to discard them into this sharps container. It is the size of a 1 liter bottle of pop. If you look closely, it is FULL...yes..FULL! We would not be able to put very many more needles in this conatiner. We did some rough figuring and to date; I have endured nearly 350 shots in the last year. Did I ever dream that this journey would have included any of that? No way, but it's a part of the journey that God has led us down and it has been our job to TRUST in Him along the way. Not an easy thing to do but rejoicing today that this is over with for now!!

In the meantime, we are Praising God daily for his goodness and for the work He is doing with-in me. As I was preparing supper tonight, I was cutting this fruit. I showed it to Pete and he reminded me that this is the fruit of the week! Baby Drury is the size of a ......

THIS WEEK!!!!!

For those of you that know me, you know that I am a visual learner. I love to think of comparisions and I learn best when I have a visual representation. This has been a great way for me to understand the progress of Baby Drury each week. Hope you enjoyed the visual from our dinner!
