Here is my first "belly" photo. Pete has been the one to say "Lets take a picture of your growing belly". I've been more like, um..no thanks. However, I got to thinking that it will be something I will want to know later on. Along with that growing waist line, I've been experiencing some movement. :) I have to be honest and share that I've been finding myself walking to the bathroom thinking that I need to "go" only to discover its just Baby D doing back flips!
**Here is a random Mason quote....They picked me up at my house the other day to go to a movie. I got in the van and he says to me "Um...DD your belly doesn't look big enough to have a baby in it!" :0) I told him...give me a few weeks and it will!!**
I have been feeling great! The last couple of weeks of school, I was experiencing some swelling in my feet. By the end of a 12+ hour day, my feet had had enough. It didn't help that my classroom was nearly 85 degrees every day. So now that school is over, I've been able to sit a lot more and put my feel up throughout the day. My feet haven't been swollen that bad yet! :) It's amazing what a little rest will do.

Speaking of school, here is a picture of me right before I locked up the door to that classroom...FOREVER!!! We made the decision a while ago that I would stay home with our children while they are young. This has been a heart's desire of mine ever since I can remember. However, as I leave this job in education, I can't even begin to tell you how much it has taught me. After 9 years of teaching, I have experienced so much that will help me be a better mother. I needed this time in this job to teach me some very important lessons. I am very thankful for my time at Anson. Even though at times it was extremely trying and stressful, I was able to witness the hand of God through it all. Thank you Lord for your provisions while at Anson.

Here are a few special people that I had to say "farewell" to at Anson. I left telling them "This is not Good Bye"...this is "farewell for a while". I hope to do some subbing in the years to come. I would love to be back at my old school to see some of my past students and friends that I have made over the years. I am very excited to start the new adventure of substitute teaching. I am really excited to experience other grade levels and different buildings but a piece of my heart will always be at this school.

Here is a pic of my newphew Mason playing T-ball. What a hoot that was so see those 4,5 and 6 year olds running around trying to play baseball. Mason thought that he played every position and no matter where the ball was hit he would run after it!! Gotta love that kid! He hasn't quite got the idea of TEAMWORK, down yet! We'll give him a few years.

Of course he had an audience there to watch him and he wanted to make sure that we saw him.
