Trick Or Treat

I have never loved Halloween. However dressing babies and little ones up in costumes sure is fun! At our local library they had a Trick or Treat "parade". I loved the idea that it was going to be contained to a building (even though the weather wasn't too cold) and that it was at a great time of day. So we got all dressed up as a little bear. This was the best we could do for a snapshot of him in his outfit.

We had to stop at Granny and Pa's to show off.

We then headed to meet our friends at the Library. There was a story time first and then all the kids paraded around and find 5 different things. Each child received a toothbrush, teddy grahams, a book, a spider ring, and a sticker. As we were parading around the facility, I was reminded that we have a beautiful library that I need to take advantage of more often. This was such a GREAT community event for little ones. The teacher in me, LOVED seeing about thiry kids walking out with a book in their hands. That warmed my heart tremendously!

After we left the library we headed to daddy's school. He had no idea that we were going to stop. So the look on his face and seeing his face light up when we walked in the door was pretty priceless. All of Pete's co-workers and even some of his students commented on how cute our little bear looked! I would have to say, I'm biased I know, but he was the cutest bear I have ever seen!

I would say that Cael's 1st Trick or Treat was a SUCCESS!!!
