This year our church took on Vacation Bible School. I stood up and offered to facilitate it. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I offered, but I couldn't be more proud of the effort that our entire church gave to make this possible. The church that we attend is in a small, rural town so reaching families is somewhat difficult. Our church has really started to grow in the past several years, and we are so encouraged.
Here is the video that recapped the entire week!! Seeds were definitely planted this week. Even though we were small in number, I believe we were mighty in TRUTH!!
By the end of the week, the kids that attended every single day could recite to you every memory verse!! That is 5 VERSES!!!! They were so excited to learn them and to tell others. Even Cael, worked to memorize his memory verses! Here is a video of him saying Day 2 memory verse! This was after one day of practicing. He can say it all nearly all by himself. As a matter of fact, he has recited it in his bed as he is falling asleep or waking up and we have heard him through the monitor!
