CHERRIES!!!

This is my Great Aunt Josephine. She is one of the sweetest ladies I know. I can only hope that if the good Lord allows me to live 93 years on this Earth that I will be as spry as she is!!



Well we made a visit to her house because she has a very large cherry tree that had a plethora of cherries that were ripe and ready to be picked.:)


So between my mom, Lisa, Pete, me and Mason we picked all these cherries.

Of course Mallory just wanted to play and touch them.

Then she decided when we were all finished picking that she wanted to pick from Pete's shoulders. So she got a few more.


Now just for the record, my mom pitted all of those cherries you saw above. Then she made a wonderful cherry pie and brought us a few pieces. That night for dessert we had a slice of fresh cherry pie and a bowl of ice cream.. wow..DELICIOUS! Thanks Mom!!
