A few weeks ago we took a trip to the Annual Balloon Festival in Indianola. This is something that is all over the commercials this time of year and every time I see it, I think about how we really need to go again. We found out when the Night Glow was happening and decided to go on that night. We packed up and headed out with my sisters, my nephew and niece. I think everyone had a great night and the weather was absolutely gorgeous!!
We had to arrive before nightfall in order to get the whole effect of things. We arrived around Cael's bedtime (7pm), however with all of the excitement and activities that were going on around him, he was entertained!! He was smiling and enjoying the atmosphere even if it was way past his bedtime. This is very unusual for him because he loves his early bedtime and makes it known when it is beyond that time of night. Not this night though...he was all SMILES!! SCORE!!! He was such a trooper!!
I think we all had a great time and hope to make this an annual family affair!
